What Are Some Good Disney Plus Alternatives?

Netflix

The cream of the crop when it comes to video streaming platforms. It seems like the Netflix library is bigger than the Library of Congress. The original Netflix shows and choices of movies to watch are endless.

This subscription comes in different tiers, depending on what you want your benefits to be. The basic subscription costs $6.99 a month but comes with ads while the cheapest ad free subscriptions (Standard) costs $15.49 a month.

Netflix Good Alternative for Disney Plus

Apple TV+

One of the ‘newcomers' to the video streaming game is Apple TV+. This streaming service costs $6.99 a month after your 7-day free trial. On top of that, if you purchase a new Apple product, you even get 3 months of AppleTV+ for free.

While the service is a bit cheaper compared to the $7.99 a month for Disney Plus, the catalog of shows and movies isn’t nearly as deep so you may not find what you’re looking for.

Disney Plus Bundle

Instead of paying $7.99 for Disney Plus, you can bundle it with Hulu for an extra $2 a month. If you’re a sports advocate, you could even include ESPN+ and get all three streaming services for $14.99 a month.

Getting the Hulu and Disney Plus bundle gives you access to the entire Hulu library, including Hulu Originals, the Marvel shows and more!

How You Can Easily Manage Your Subscriptions

On average, American households spend $61 a month on video entertainment services alone, according to a study by Deloitte. This is a 27% increase from last year. That same survey revealed that 36% of the people don’t think the content available is worth the price they pay for it.

With that being said, we’re all guilty of having multiple video streaming services alone. From Netflix to Hulu to Peacock, the list goes on. Now when you add in other streaming services, that list becomes endless.

To better manage your budget, tracking your spending and cutting back on unnecessary expenses will help your wallet in the long run. An app like Hiatus lets you manage your subscriptions all within the dashboard. You’ll be able to track what you’re subscribed to and cancel the subscriptions you no longer want. The app also alerts you when subscriptions are going to renew, this way you won’t have any surprise charges.

Hiatus can also negotiate your monthly bills like your cell phone or Internet bill, putting more money back into your savings. Whatever you save is what you get, no hidden charges! This fantastic feature will help improve your finances.
